Jenni and Bob Krosnowski own the Twisted Loop Yarn Shop. This shop started as a dream in 2010. We (Bob and I) were going to go the “big shop” route, we had a large location, lots of yarn and a kick-ass business plan that landed us the huge bank loan that would make it all possible. The Lord put upon our hearts that we should rethink our plan. With lots of prayer and advice from friends and family we decided to go at it slow and small.
Jenni is the owner, operator of the Twisted Loop Yarn Shop. She started knitting in 1992 when she found out she was going to become an aunt. She took a baby sweater class as a "beginning knitting class" from Zandy's Yarn Shop. She didn't explain to Zandy that she'd never knit. Jenni quickly gave up on the baby sweater and took up scarf knitting. EVERYBODY received scarves the Christmas of 1992.
After a few proper knitting classes, Jenni did tackle a Wonderful Wallaby Sweater and hasn't looked back since.
Jenni's favorite items to knit are socks, lace and anything with colorwork.
Shari's grandma Annie taught her how to knit and crochet many moons ago. Time passed and children and life caused her to put down her needles and hook. When her children were a little older but not quite in school a friend re-introduced her to knitting.
Shari started officially teaching in 1998 when her twins graduated from high school. She is the resident baby sweater and mitten knitter! As a matter of fact those are the classes she heads up. Shari also has a love for everything colorwork and enjoys a good shawl pattern.
Shari now knits for her three kids and five beautiful grandbabies!
MELISSA, JANIE & LAUREN
We've had a lot of changes at the Twisted Loop since September, 2019 and with those changes we've added three SPECTACULAR women to our team. Melissa, Janie and Lauren bring years of knitting and crochet experience to us and we're lucky to have each of them.
Stay tuned for bio's on each of these talented and creative women. We may even have actual pictures of everybody here pretty soon... better go put on some great handknits and lipstick!
