Twisted but not Spooky
For some Halloween harkens to memories of homemade costumes, candy, and scary movies. I (Jenni) donned my witch costume and Wendy, my younger sister by 8 years, was Raggedy Ann - we were quite the odd couple. The embodiment of Halloween, good and evil unite.
Now I'm older my kiddos are grown, Halloween is a very different holiday for me. I love handing out treats, performing the occasional trick, decorating the yard with spider webs (that last til spring...) and giant spiders in the trees. In between all the ghosts, goblins, Elsa's and Anna's, I do get some knitting done. What else are you going to do between doorbell rings? You must be at your post just in case a little vampire beckons you.
