This past week has turned our country upside down and people are scared, hurting and grieving. But in all of this, there is hope.
Fear of my ignorance, silence and how to verbalize was preventing me from doing what needs to be done and that's simply... saying something. It's scary and uncomfortable to find out that what you have been saying or not saying may be hurtful. It's ok to be uncomfortable, it causes us to think about how to be better people. This is good, this is change, this is hope!
